Made one more stop this Saturday. We went to Wal-mart to get new Blackberry phones and while I was there I picked up a few of the deals that I read about over at Money Saving Mom. I got the Vitamin Water FREE, the Olay 2-pack soap for $0.48 ea and the Johnson's swabs for $0.38 ea. Bananas $0.47.
I am definately done shopping for the next couple of weeks--I can fit anything else in my fridge or pantry! I told this to my family and I got the "Yea, sure Mom" look....
I stopped by Target to pick up these items that I read about over at Money Saving Mom. The All detergent was a little more at my Target, but still a really good deal. I was thinking the cashier might give me a hard time because I was purchasing 6 items and I had ten coupons (I stacked Target and Manufacturer coupons), but she didn't say a word.
I got the All for $1.54 each and the Eggos for $0.62 each!
This is a picture of my Publix shopping trip this week. I got all of this in 4 transactions and spent about $55. I had a total of about 70 items, so that was a really good trip. I also made a trip to Aldi's where I spent an additional $20. We are back on the cash envelope system, and I think it will help us to better stay within our budget. Pantry and freezer are full!
Head over to Darby's blog Fly Through My Window to find out how to make these Resurrection Cookies. It is a nice way to share the Easter story with your kids and entire family.
