Well, Labor Day Weekend has been very relaxing for my family. And, boy, did we need a relaxing weekend! We've had a very stressful week. My husband had an acute appendicitis last weekend and emergency surgery. The day we got home from the hospital, we walked in to find the A/C unit leaking from the attic! Then the next day, my van broke down!
It was nice to stay inside and spend the weekend catching up on quilting and embroidery projects. I have many orders to work on for embroidery. My new friend, Cheryl, is giving personalized towels to family members this Christmas. I know all who receive these beautiful towels will be so happy! There is something so exciting about receiving a gift with your name right on it!
I have also been working on a large order for my brother. He requested t-shirts with spiritual messages embroidered on them. I think I need to make a few of these for my family!
I will be making many of these stockings in the next few months. I plan to sell some at craft sales and on E-bay and Etsy. If you haven't heard of Esty, go take a look. It is a site where a lot of talented crafters are selling their beautiful creations. Etsy is being mentioned all over the internet. It seems that just about every blog I read is talking about it. I have seller a seller ID at both e-bay and etsy, but I haven't had a chance to list anything on Esty yet. Check back soon to A Stitch of Faith on Etsy.
