Menu Plan Monday 11/3

I have planned a week that is pretty simplistic. My son and I are trying to stick to Weight Watchers. My husband is going to a conference and won't be home until very late a few nights. Also, I have set a grocery budget of $35/week for the next few weeks. I am doing this as a challenge to myself to see if I can and to also use up my overstocked pantry and freezer. I am trying to resist having to buy every deal. So here is our week.

Breakfasts: cereal/milk, bagels, toaster strudel, eggos, oatmeal

Lunches: leftovers, boiled eggs, soup, sandwiches, chips, carrots, yogurt, applesauce, mandarin oranges, apples

Dinners

Monday
pork chops
scalloped potatoes
steamed brocolli

Tuesday
Spaghetti sauce
noodles
steamed veggie or salad (if I go shopping)

Wednesday
leftovers

Thursday
pork roast (crockpot)
rice side dish
steamed veggie

Friday
beans/rice
steamed brocolli

Saturday
Hamburgers
chips

Sunday
Grilled chicken
rice a roni
steamed veggie

Check out more menu ideas at I'm an Organizing Junkie.

Have a great week!

I seem to have deleted your email. If you could send it to me at mommy stays home 2 @ yahoo .com I would love to get back with you. I am so glad to hear that Scripture Sunday has been helpful for you. Keep going I know you will get there.

Not sure if I'll get around to the menu planning post? It's been hard getting back into the swing of things after MT. What's the blog with the potatoes info?

$35 a week sounds like a definite challenge. I don't know how you can do that. That is something you should share with us in a post sometime.
