Even though I am in the middle of a eating from the pantry challenge, I did have a number of staples on my list. I find it hard to make meals without some of these basics on hand. I saved the bulk of my shopping items needed for my trip to Aldi's I find that they have the best prices on produce and milk in my area. I am really pleased with the quality of the products and produce.
The highlight of the trip was milk for $1.89/gallon! Yay! Cheese was also a good deal--$1.29/8 oz. bar.
Total spent for all the items above $18.74.
My total OOP for Tuesdays shopping marathon was $29.39. Really great for all of the items I got. Especially considering one of the items was a $40 patio umbrella! You can see all the other posts HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
I now have a total of $48 left in the grocery budget to last until 7/4.
